Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning - 2011 Citation For specialist expertise in the design and implementation of blended learning classes leading to enhanced student engagement and learning. Synopsis Dr Ray Archee and Ms Myra Gurney have developed blended learning classes incorporating unique Flash video tutorials. Using a team approach, they have taught demanding curricula in computer lab-classrooms. Feedback shows high praise, and a pre-test/post-test study (2010) shows significant increases in all of the unit's stated aims and outcomes. Several teaching publications and extensive websites have ensued.
