Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning - 2011 Citation For developing an innovative and equitable online program that leads students to independent mastery of their academic literacy. Synopsis The tUNEup from Home team has developed an effective online university preparation course that assists students with their academic and social integration into the University. The team introduces students to academic literacy skills required for successful tertiary study. Students are able to develop their capacity to make use of the University's virtual learning environment and are connected with the University's support networks. This unique approach fosters independent learning skills and promotes student confidence.
