Physclips wins innovation challenge

 The Physclips project led by Professor Joe Wolfe and George Hatsidimitris at the University of NSW has taken out the Education prize in The Australian’s Innovation Challenge.

The project has produced a set of widely used film clips, animations and other learning and teaching materials for introductory physics. Physclips currently has three volumes: mechanics; waves and sound; electricity and magnetism. A third stage is underway to develop the topic areas of light and other electromagnetic radiation.
